Connecticut born. I’ve spent the better part of a decade around ice rinks, and somewhere along the way, I picked up a camera. I’m self-taught and still learning.

I take photos because I have something called aphantasia. I can’t visualize things in my mind. No mental images, no picture when I close my eyes. For me, photographs are one of the only ways I can visually revisit a moment.

I see beauty all around me, all the time. In the ice rinks at six in the morning, the way light falls on a stranger’s face, in places most people walk through without a second glance. Beauty shows up in the most mundane places constantly. I enjoy capturing that.
