Spencer Rougeot

Hi, My name is Spencer, and I’m a Photographer.

I’m self-taught and still learning. I started taking pictures because preserving moments visually is very important to me. I have aphantasia, which is the inability to visualize things mentally. If I’m fond of a moment the most powerful way I can revisit it is through a photograph.

Through capturing so many moments over the years I decided to get a camera that wasn’t a smartphone, and learn how to capture those moments in the best quality I could, and in any different creative ways I could imagine.

I’m branching out now and trying all sorts of different things and concepts so this portfolio will be quite experimental. I’m very excited to continue to learn and take on new creative endeavors, and I’m always open to collaborations and hearing people’s ideas.
